Why is EMPOWER a cash-based practice?
EMPOWER Occupational Therapy in Charlotte, NC is a cash-based practice so care is designed around you, not an insurer’s billing codes. Without an insurance middleman, Lauryn Bewlay, OTR/L, can offer longer, unhurried 1:1 sessions, transparent upfront pricing, and a treatment plan built around your goals rather than what a plan will authorize.
This model keeps things simple and honest: you know the cost of a session before you book, there are no surprise claim denials or prior-authorization delays, and no referral is required to start.
What’s included in a session
- A full 1:1 session — one-on-one time with Lauryn Bewlay, OTR/L — never double-booked or handed to an aide
- Hands-on treatment — manual therapy, dry needling where appropriate, and targeted movement in one visit
- A personalized plan — care built around your goals and lifestyle, not billing codes
- Transparent, upfront pricing — you know the flat, single-session cost before you book — no surprise bills
Current session rates are provided upfront so you can plan with confidence. For today’s pricing and session details, contact EMPOWER directly.
